I miss you...

I had had spent everyday, since Becca left, in this room. Never leaving, never sleeping, never eating. I blamed myself completely for Becca's 'kidnapping'. If I'd been more mature about this whole thing, nothing would have happened to her. People could try to convince me otherwise, but I knew the truth, it was me.

So I'd confined myself to this room, the dark brown walls now looking more like a prison then the once cheerful room it used to be. It was the room that contained amazing memories, that now seemed more haunting than amazing. The bags under my eyes grew even more purple as the days went on and I'd been losing weight at an alarming rate. It didn't bother me though, I couldn't eat or sleep, knowing Becca was forever lost and knowing it was my fault. The emptiness in side me growing as the days past by slowly, the emptiness that only the return of one person could heal.

I walked slowly into Becca and Zoe's room. Snowie was in there, she hadn't moved since the last time I saw her, and the time before that. "Snowie..." I started. Walking in and sitting on my bed.

Jared hadn't seen Snowie in so long, he started to wonder if she'd gone missing too. He grabbed loads of food from the kitchen and checked the first place he thought she would be. Her room. She was there. Very thin, very sad. "Knock knock," He murmured sadly. He hated seeing her like this.

I looked up at them both as they walked in. "Hey" I mumbled, sitting up a little. I tried to be polite, even though I didn't feel good.

"Hello" I answered. I was wording what I was going to say in my head.

Jared put the food near Zoe. "Snow, come on. You've got to eat."

"I'm not eating, so if that's why your here then you can leave." I murmdred, trying to not sound rude. I wasn't going to eat, I couldn't.

"We're not" I said, I had put what I was about to say together. I took a deep breath and said, "We can save Becca, Ever and Abbi"

Jared wasn't shocked by this news. He'd already known. he'd already got everything they needed. He sat on the ground next to Zoe, smiling.

I sighed, looking up at Wanderer. "How? We don't even know were she is... you said yourself that you had a feeling she was gone." I mumbled, not wanting to raise my hopes just to have them crash back down.

"Gone as in being taken and another soul put inside. I've never told anyone this story but..." I hesitated but just carried on "There is a very good chance they will be like Melanie because they were in the resistance and knew about the souls" I explained.

"I'll admit that Becca is a fighter, but she could be anywhere... how will we find her..." I said, laying back down and resting my head on a pillow.

"Healing facilities will keep a record of where to find her. Or.. if we find her comforter" I shook my head. "Healing facilities" I repeated.

Okay, the fact that Wanderer thought Becca was still like Melanie shocked Jared. "It'll be a breeze." He grinned at Zoe. "And with Wanderer on our side, we can't lose." He encouraged.

I wanted to believe, I honestly did. But after the pain of the last few days it was the only thing I could feel.

I didn't say anything. Who's side was I really on? The enemies? I wasn't sure. I knew I would never give them away though.

"Zoe, come on, we need your help." Jared smiled. That was one of the only times he'd ever called her Zoe. "Look, Wanda told me something once. About the souls. They like to live in the same places as their hosts did. And, if Becca is like Mel, she won't come back here. Where was Becca living.. before?"

"I...I'm not sure, we never saw each other.... our parents didn't like each other... but... I think somewhere...in...erm.... near a beach...." I tried to remember, but my memory was rubbish.

"Can you remember what state?" I asked, thinking of all the beaches I knew from Melanie's memory.

Yeah, it would help if we knew the state. Jared thought. He kept his smile on his face, though.
