Food, Bruises and Pain

I skipped happily into the Kitchen. Ignoring the pain from the bruise's left from last night's inncident. I'd been hiding them from Becca because I knew she'd over react. I was gonna grab some food for us all, then get some clothes and head back down to the prison hole. I was beginning to trust Wanderer a little more now too, she didn't seem like she was going to hurt us or wanted to for a matter of fact. I would talk to Kyle later, not now I was a little tired. I could feel the purplish bruises under my eyes which had nothing to do with the fight, they were because I'd had no sleep. As I skipped in I noticed Jamie sat on the counter. I couldn't help but stop and talk, I was sure Wanderer and Becca wouldn't miss me. "Hey Jamie!" I called, wanderering over and hopping onto the counter top next to him.

"Hey."I smiled as she hoped on the counter next to me.

"How did you sleep last night?" I asked, still smiling. I hoped the sound of our fight hadn't travelled around the cave, if it had we were in big trouble.

"Ok,I guess." I replied,I hadn't heard the fight last night cause I was sound asleep.

"Good" I replied, relieved. At least that wasn't something I'd have to lie about over the top of everything else. "What was you doing yesterday anyway, I didn't see you at all?" I asked, curious.

"Just hanging around,"I said even thought I nearly forgot about everything that happed yesterday.

"Oh, Cool." I replied, it was strange to think he was just 2 years younger then me. I smiled.

I was quiet I smiled back at her but I just remanded quiet.

"You want anything to eat?" I asked, hopping off the counter and walking to the cuboards, well sort of cuboards were we kept the food.

"No I'm not hungry,"I replied.

"Okay." I replied, but took a granola bar out and 3 lumps of bread. We had chocolate, granola bars and everything down at the prison hole. We didn't have any bread though, or things like that. I smiled, Maybe I'd cook them something specail to make up for me being gone so long. "Do we have any bacon left?" I asked Jamie, smiling.

"I have no idea." I laughed.

I giggled when he laughed. Then I walked to the cooler area of the kitchen were we put the meat. I struck lucky, Bacon! Yay, Bacon sandwhich's it was. It was still just dark enough to cook. There was more Bacon left then I needed, "Want a bacon sandwhich?" I asked Jamie as I put the slices into the frying pan.

"Sure,"I said.

"Cool" I replied, then put an extra couple of slices in the pan. I watched them sizzel, then began singing to myself like I usually did.

I was still a little tired so as she sang I quietly began to fall asleep but caught myself before I really did.

"I think you need some sleep" I said, stopping my mummbled singing.

"No,No I'm awake."I said,"But it really looks like you need some sleep."I told her

I rolled my eyes "I have responsibilities." I argued, but in a happy tone. When the bacon was done I took it out of the pan and laid it on plates then cut some bread to make the sandwhichs.

"Hey,no need to get mad I just suggested,"I laughed

I giggled. "Busy night thats all" I explained. "But seriously kid, get some sleep. I mean as far as I'm aware my bedroom's free tonight, you can have my matress." I offered, smiling. I then put the peices of bacon into the bread and handed one to him.

"Thanks but I'm awake now"I said as I stared in her eyes then looked away quickly.

"Still, My beds there if you want it. It beats sleeping in the same room as Jared, I can here is snores from about a mile away" I joked.

I laughed,"I know I believe you"I smiled

"So what you doing later?" I asked, curious again. I was being very noisy this morning, even I could tell.
