Hidden ...

"Hmmm... how can we sort out the eyes?" I wondered, I couldn't think of any way to sort them out.

"Glasses?" I suggested.

"Good idea" I replied and went to the little pile in the corner and rummaged through the plastic bag which contained a load of random stuff until I found some sun glasses and handed them too her, then found some for me and put them on.

I put them on and looked around. Searching for the darkest spot in the room. "Are we done?" Jared asked from outside of the room. I hadn't noticed him not in here considering he had followed us.

"Yeah, I think... can you tell?" I asked, turning to face him. I looked at Wanderer and couldn't tell, but it could be a different story with me.

"No" He says, his eyes moving between us. I spotted a dark spot and curled up. It was a corner with nothing in it but it looked dark so I settled there. Meeting the eyes of the both of their confused eyes. "What are you doing Wanderer?" Jared asked.

"You don't need to hide now..." I reassured her, smiling. "I'll have a word with Jeb later, unless you want to Jared?" I said, turning and looking at Jared.

"I..I" I say but I can't finish. "Could you please?" Jared said to Snowie.

"Sure... I'll tell Becca as well..." I said, smiling.

"Ok" He said and then turned and walked towards me. Still making me cringe against the wall but he just smiled and sat infront of me.

"I guess I'll be off then...." I said, smiling and winking at Wanderer. Giggling to myself as I turned to leave.

I smiled at her as she left.

I skipped through the caves, quickly and quietly staying in the dark. I was happy to be doing something good for someone good.I made it the prison cave unseen. I decided to sit in the hole and it was really uncomfortable, I was really surprised Wanderer hadn't made a bigger fuss about it. I just tried to get as comfy as possible then hummed You, me at six - Safer to hate her to myself. I watched the doorway which was just insight just in case someone appeared.

I relaxed against the cool rock and sighed. Why did they want to put themselves into danger for something like me in their friends body? I didn't know.

I wondered what had changed Jared's mind? Why he was suddenly being so nice? I mean, I wasn't going to say anything about it because I felt a little happier now. If Ian, Kyle and the others weren't going to change, it was cool to have one of 'brothers' back... I hoped he would stay this way.

I closed my eyes and fell into a light sleep. Still wondering about one word. Why?

I watched the doorway until I fell asleep, though not fully unconscious.

A few hours later I opened my eyes to see Jared laid on the floor about 1 meter away from me. He was asleep. I was sure of it.

I woke up while it was still dark, I wasn't surprised to be honest. It was well uncomfortable, it was a miracle I fell asleep in the first place.

I sat up slightly, silently making sure I didn't wake Jared.

I wandered through the caves slowly. I had been for a wash and had eaten... quite a lot... and I just wanted to sleep now. I had no idea why I was so tired. I did sleep most nights. Well, for a part of the night. I had been having nightmares. It must've been to do with all the hostility in the caves. Jared, Kyle, Ian, Brandt, Aaron... everyone else..
I wandered into mine and Snowie's room and saw her in the corner.
"Hey Snowie," I yawned. Then I saw something else. I thought I was seeing things.. or dreaming.. or something. But then Jared stirred a little and was quiet again.
"Why is Jared in our room?" I asked with another yawn. I didn't really care. He didn't seem to be doing any harm. Although Snowie was huddled up in a corner. And, suddenly, I forgot how tired I was. "Snowie, what's wrong? Why are you in the corner?"

When Becca walked in, I stayed quiet although since she talked I had to reply. "Nothings wrong with her" I said and looked at Jared as he moved and then fell silent again.

(its okaay, it was fine. sorry if mine was abit rushed. Im getting ready for this dance performance thingy :p)

That wasn't Snowie's voice. My head snapped up to look at the girl who wasn't Snowie. "Wanderer?" I asked, shocked. "W-Why are you in our room? And.. where's Snowie?" I frowned. I looked closer and saw Wanderer was wearing Snowie's favourite hoodie and a pair of shades. I couldn't understand why.
Until it clicked in my head. "Snowie's taken your place, hasn't she?"

"Yes" I whispered and looked at Becca really well. She looked tired. "You look really tired" I coomented.

"And he let h-" I stopped talking when I remembered he was asleep, so me arguing with Wanderer when I should've been arguing with Jared wasn't fair. "Not anymore, I'm not." I murmured to Wanderer with a half smile. I moved the few inches needed to kick Jared in the stomach to wake him up. I backed off and sat on my mattress.
