Jared frowned and looked back at the Seeker when she spoke to Wanderer in a way that you don't even talk to a slave.

"I need.. to go.. wash my face" I said and ran out. I had tears spilling over my lids as I ran half-blind.

Jared picked the rifle off the ground by his feet. He tossed it lightly to Brandt who caught it easily. "Be careful." He ordered before following Wanderer quickly. "Wanda, what's wrong?"

I ignored Jared and kept running towards the games room.

"Wanda!" Jared called again. He followed her into the dark games room.

I ignored him again and ran straight for the darkest corner of the games room and curled up and began to sob silently.

Jared knew where to find Wanderer from the sounds of her sobs. He got more careful the closer he got to her, not wanting to walk into her. He sat next to Wanderer. "Wanda, what is it? What's wrong?"

"Well, she can't stay here for long, who knows what else she's gonna do." Jared said softly. "But, I won't let them hurt her." He smiled.

I didn't say anything for a while.. "You want me to take her out, dont you?"

Jared sighed. "Well, I thought you'd prefer she lived than Brandt losing it a shooting her." He answered honestly. "But, it's your choice, Wanda."

Jared smiled. "Look, I'm not asking you to choose tonight." He watched the exit. "You know, I should probably go, make sure Brandt doesn't tick your Seeker off." He smiled again.

"My seeker" I muttered under my breath. She doesn't really even classify as a soul.
