Taken... by humans?

"Yes, that will speed things up" I agreed with Doc and got up, I would ahve offered my hand but Kyle's hand beat me to it. I walked across the small space to the bed where Ever lay. I gave her no pain and Doc cut her neck when he finished with Becca's body. We repeated it over again. And then once more for Abbi. Luckily, non of them had woken up.

"But l don't know what to say...." l replied, everything still spinning as my eyes began to focus a bit more.

"just... talk about stuff she will remember..." I trailed off. "Say her name too... that helps"

I didn't watch as Wanderer and Doc operated on the other two girls. I really didn't know what they were doing but they must be healing them. I didn't know what I was doing there, to be honest, because I was in the way.

I wandered over to the cot next to Becca's and sat down, looking at her. How could I have let this happen? I sighed heavily, before speaking. "Becca, hey... it's me, zoe. I... I missed you, I havent slept or eaten or anything in weeks. I'm sorry for acting like a baby all this time... I should've been there for you more... maybe this wouldn't of happened if I'd been acting my age..." I started, then decided to go for a different approach. I turned to Cat. "Could you go get me my guitar, please?" I asked, politely. Maybe singing her favourite song would work...

"Naturalmente. Of course." I half-smiled, turned and walked out of the room quickly, toward Snowie, Wanderer and Becca's room.

I smiled a small smile, hoping this would work. I wanted Becca back as soon as possible. So I sat beside her cot, waiting for Cat to return.

(Erm... lets say about an hour or something, I dkk x)

I walked quickly. Snowie clearly wanted her cousin back as fast as possible. It was only a couple of minutes before I was back in the room. I gave Snowie her guitar with a smile.


(I meant in the caves altogether lmfao like what songs would she know? But just pick any song and say she heard it on a raid )

I gratefully took it out of Cat's hand when she came back into the room. I tuned it before I started, hoping this would work. I tried to keep back the tears while I sung.

I was first aware of my cousin's voice. But it was far away and distorted. I couldn't hear her properly. I scrabbled around in my head to find the volume dial for my ears. I couldn't find it (quite possibly because everyone knows there isn't a volume dial for your ears) so I settled on concentrating everything on her voice, trying to force myself to hear her properly.
Snowie's voice got louder and more clear gradually. When it was clear enough for me to hear her properly, the volume still gaining, I could hear she was singing one of my favourite songs. My mouth twitched into a small smile in the middle of the song.
Wait... My mouth did that. Because I told it to! Wait, where was Daisy?? And where was I? Last time I checked, I was on a beach with jared and Wanda and Rose. The last thing I remembered was sending Stars to the white van that I knew would be parked around the corner. Snowie was nowhere near me.
Everything from then to now was just black and that scared me.

I saw Beccas mouth twitch and was by her side automatically. "Becca? Becca can you hear me?" I said, my hope slowly rising.

I was trying to answer her. I really was but my body didn't seem to want to work for me again. Not because someone else was controlling it -I still couldn't find Daisy- but because it just seemed limp, lifeless. My body seemed dead.
My hope that I was finally home dies quickly as soon as I realised what had happened. Daisy had wiped me out. Comepletely. So this was what it was like to die? It feels very much like living except your body is tempremental. What I didn't get is why couldn't I move? If I was dead, surely God screwed me over enough to make me able to move even after I was dead?

I watched the two girls talk through blurry vision. Is that what it would be like when I was gone? Just happiness? I finished off the other two girls and cradled all three cryotanks in my arms.

I held Beccas hand. "Becca please wake up..." I mumbled.

I heard Snowie's voice and I wanted to answer. Wanted to move, wanted to do anything. The pain in her voice was unbearable. I focused every part of my brain on trying to wake up. All I got was a pathetic twitch in my hand. That was enough for now. It felt like I'd won the lottery just by being able to do that much. I concentrated again, making my fingers curl around her hand.

When I felt Beccas fingers curl around mine, I couldn't keep the tears away anymore. But this time they were tears of joy. She was alive!

I was ecstatic when I was able to move my hand. Now, if I could just move my eyes... Or mouth... I concentrated on doing that. I was able to do it quickly. I was getting the hang of using my body for me again. First, I spoke to my cousin. "Hey cuz." I said, a small smile stretching my lips. My voice was slightly raspy from not talking for a while.

I smiled widely. "Hey Bex!" I replied, over the moon that she could talk and even more happy that she wasn't dead.

"Who else did you think it would be?" I joked. "I'm the only one who causes this much drama around here." I said, my smile getting wider. I opened my eyes slowly, snapping them shut again when I saw the light of the day above me.

I laughed, it was the first time I'd laughed in ages. "Your right about that!"

I opened my eyes, slower this time. They found Snowie's face. I had complete control of my body again. With the hand that wasn't holding Snowie's, I hugged her tightly. "I missed you so much." I whispered, a tear rolling down my face.

I hugged her back. "I missed you too!" I replied.

I smiled at her. I noticed there was silence in the room but I could feel eyes on us. I looked around. The usual suspects were here, Doc, Jared, Wanda. Abbi and Ever were passed out on two other cots and I saw an unfamiliar girl in the corner. By the looks of her, she was about 12 or 13.

I watched her look around the room, her eyes stopping on Cat. "That's Cat." I whispered in her ear, seeing the slightly confused look on her face.

I smiled at Cat before slipping off the cot. I sighed when I was told to get back on by Doc. I mean, he was right. I was a little dizzy and I wondered if my legs would collapse so I did as I was told. "So," I chirped. "What's been happening?" I was a little hyperactive due to the fact that I was back with my family.
