Taken... by humans?

I didn't want to tell her about Wes, not yet. Maybe later when she was a little more awake...
"Nothing much" I replied.

I nodded with a smile. "Oh." Then I remembered something. Something I needed to ask Wanderer. "Wanda?" I turned to look at her.

"Oh um.. yes?" I heard my name. I was sharing a look with Doc that he knew oh too well. I set the cryotanks in Ian's arms and walked over to Ever and Abbi. I held both their hands and mumbled things they would know about.

"What happened... after I told Sta- Abbi to go to the van?" I asked quietly. "I-I can't remember." I admitted, watching my hands.

"Oh.. oh.. Daisy.. lost.. you.." I said shaking my head and crooning both of the girls names.

I raised my eyebrows. "What? She lost me??" I thought about what that meant but I couldn't comprehend it. What? How?

"Yes..." I said and swallowed. I gasped when I felt Abbi's hand tighten around mine. But my face soon turned into a smile, the smile Melanie used when she first set eyes on Jared when she knew he wasn't a snatcher.

I decided to drop it for now. I saw Abbi's hand move and moved off the cot to her bedside. I kept Snowie's hand in mind, though. "Abbi?" I smiled. "Abbigail Fabray, I have a new baby doll dress for you! It's really cute!" I said in a sing-song voice.

I listened to most of the humans conversations. I just couldn't find my tongue to talk back. When Becca came over and said she had a cute baby doll dress, my eyes shot open. How could you resist a cute dress?

I beamed when her eyes shot open. "Okay, slight exaggeration.... Okay, downright lie but I will get you one, just for waking up." I promised.

I laughed and smiled brightly at her. "Thanks" I said as I sat up. I was a bit disorientated but that soon passed.

I smiled. "Welcome back, Abbi. And I'm so sorry that I made you... get caught." I said, watching the ground. Even though the last time with Daisy was just blank, I still remembered the day we went searching for Ever. I let Abbi come with me.

"Oh thats okay. Wait. Where is Stars?" I asked, my head craning around the room.

I looked around too but all I found that was out of place was Ian. Holding three containers, a light glowing on top of each. I couldn't put a name of a material to the appearence of the containers. "And... what are those?"

Wanda answered Becca's question, "Cryotanks. They contain Stars, Daisy and Rose" She answered and I hopped off my bed. Looking down at my outfit and rolling my eyes. I had to be in a bikini. I walked over to Ian and stared at the metal.

"Cryo-whats?" I raised my eyebrows, towing Snowie -who's hand was still in mine- to see the containers Ian was holding carefully as well as Abbi. "And, I thought you said souls can't survive out of a host for more than a few minutes? I know they'd been out for longer than that because I've been awake for nearly quarter of an hour."

"These are what they travel through space in" Wanderer carried on but I ignored the other conversations and stepped away. "I'm going.. to go get washed up" I said. I looked a mess. My hair was sticking up in different directions. Luckily I had a hair band on my wrist, that would come in handy. I had mud all over me and my bikini was covered in dirt too. I walked to my room and went straight to the drawers which held my dresses. I pulled a black one on and my white cardigan over it. I kept my bikini on because I didn't want to take too long. My feet were bare so I slipped some flats on and headed out of my room. I pulled my hair into a low side ponytail and plaited it. I entered the hospital again.

"What are they made of?" I asked, running my fingers along the strange material. I didn't try to take one from Ian in case he dropped them. I had a feeling that wouldn't be good.

"A material you wouldn't be familiar with. One from a different planet" Wanderer answered.

"Oh." I answered with a smile. "But... What are you going to do with them?" I asked, feeling stupid. I was out of the loop here but as much as I hated Daisy at the start, she'd kinda become my friend. I didn't want her to die.

"Send them off planet" Wanderer answered.

"Oh." I repeated. Ian glanced behind me at Wanderer and subtly moved away.

I watched as Ian moved away from Becca. I stayed silent and so did Wanda.

I looked down at myself. I needed to go clean up. "I'm gonna go get washed up." I smiled, dropping Snowie's hand. As much as I wanted her to come so we could talk, (I'd missed her so much) I didn't want to make her.

"I'm coming with." I replied smiling & getting up with her. I'd spent so much time away from her lately, all I wanted to do was make sure she was safe & happy.
